Job summary

Northern Trust offers a Senior Portfolio Advisor role focused on managing a full set of fee-producing investment accounts, including large high-net-worth personal trusts and complex portfolios. The position requires deep investment expertise, strategic program development, and close collaboration with the client service team to align with client goals.

Qualifications

Minimum 8–12 years of investment experience with a track record of long-term performance.
Strong knowledge of investment theory, portfolio construction, and risk management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
Ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

Manage investments for major fee-revenue accounts including high net worth trusts and individuals.
Develop and direct execution of programs to meet client objectives and goals.
Collaborate with client service teams, lawyers, and consultants to coordinate portfolio activity.
Lead thought leadership and contribute to practice improvement and training initiatives.
