Job summary

The role coordinates with Port Authority personnel, vessel agents, and union personnel to align labor and equipment with targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years in maritime or port operations.
• Experience with longshore union policies and contracts is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and regulatory standards in port operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vessel, warehouse, terminal, and liquid transfer operations.
• Develop daily work schedules coordinating with managers and port authorities.
• Supervise union personnel and temporary staff while ensuring safety compliance.
• Forecast manpower requirements and allocate labor resources across shifts.
• Ensure 95% on-time vessel turnaround by planning labor and coordinating equipment.
