Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead the design, validation, and optimization of polymer extrusion processes for medical tubing and catheter components. You will apply polymer science, rheology, and process control to develop scalable, repeatable manufacturing and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on experience with IQ/OQ/PQ, DoE, SPC, PFMEA, RCA, and collaboration across Operations, Quality, R&D, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years or Master’s with 3+ years or Doctoral in engineering.
• Hands-on experience developing or sustaining polymer extrusion processes.
• Experience with IQ/OQ/PQ, DoE, SPC, PFMEA, RCA.
• Working knowledge of ISO 13485 and cGMP for medical devices.
• Proficiency with Minitab and statistical tools.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and optimization of polymer extrusion processes for medical tubing.
• Coordinate testing and validation of materials and products.
• Drive root-cause analysis and CAPA actions.
• Develop qualification strategies and validation protocols.
• Provide technical training to operators and engineers on equipment and processes.
