Job summary

Conservative United States Senator seeks a Senior Policy Advisor to support and advance the Senator’s growing conservative policy agenda. This role is for a sharp and innovative thinker and exceptional writer who is equally comfortable shaping policy and driving a message.

You will craft legislative proposals and assist with drafting long form speeches and commentary. Strong writing skills and an understanding of the legislative process are a must, and prior hill experience is not required.

A conservative U.S. Senator is seeking a highly capable “Senior Policy Advisor" to support and advance the Senator’s growing conservative policy agenda. This role is for a sharp and innovative thinker and exceptional writer who is equally comfortable shaping policy and driving a message. This position is part of the senior staff.

Key responsibilities will include crafting innovative legislative proposals and assisting with the drafting of long form and thoughtful speeches and commentary. You are expected to work closely with key allies in the senate and the Trump Administration on advancing new and outside the box ideas. Prior hill experience is not required, but writing skills and an understanding of the legislative process is a must.
