Qualifications

• Master's degree required.

The role involves tracking legislation, drafting policy memoranda, making oral presentations, assisting with negotiations, and preparing briefing materials for senators on legal and policy issues.

Key qualifications

• Master's Degree
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in housing development, tenant protections, affordable housing, building code safety, or similar
• Strong writing and oratory skills
• Demonstrated legislative experience (preferred)
• Willingness to live and work in Capital Region of New York (preferred)
