The Joint, Office of theSecretary of War, Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across theDepartment of War, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.
The Acquisition and Technology Analysis Group within JOID specializes in the application of multi-disciplinary analytic skills to support multiple clients within theDepartment of War(DoW). These clients include the Office of the UnderSecretary of Warfor Research and Engineering (OUSW(R&E)), Office of the UnderSecretary of Warfor Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSW(A&S)), DARPA, the Joint Staff, and USINDOPACOM. Responsibilities
SPA is seeking an experienced Acquisition Program Analyst to support OSW oversight of the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) mission area. The PNT Senior Analyst will provide onsite support to the Space and Missile Defense Directorate under the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Acquisition and Sustainment (A&S)/Strategic, Space, and Intelligence Portfolio Management (SSIPM) Office as an expert acquisition portfolio adviser on PNT systems like the Global Positioning System (GPS) and its control segments. Develop decision-ready material for senior leaders and apply the initiative to navigate headquarters and acquisition processes to support the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War (DASW) portfolio management responsibilities. Will support portfolio management and oversight of systems through development, production, and fielding to the warfighter.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- 15+ years of experience
- Demonstrated operational or programmatic experience with PNT systems and their control segments (GPS IIR, GPS IIF, GPS III, M-Code, OCX, etc.)
- Demonstratedexpertisewith the Defense Acquisition System; Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE); Program Management, andDoWBusiness Processes
- Must have a professional demeanor, strong writing and oral communication skills, and the ability toproactively and independently coordinate with PNT stakeholdersacross theDoW
- Able to work fully onsite based on client needs
