Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is the Prime contractor for the Flight School Training Support Services program in Daleville, AL. We seek a PMO Senior Manager to lead a team of project managers, manage subcontractors, and ensure on-time delivery across multiple projects.

The role requires 6+ years of PM experience, a BS or PMP, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. On-site duties with ~10% travel, competitive benefits, and a dynamic, mission-driven environment are offered.

Qualifications

• BS degree or PMP required
• 6+ years of project management experience
• US Citizenship required: Yes
• Active PMP strongly preferred
• Security clearance: Must be able to obtain a Secret
• Location: On Site in Daleville, AL
• Travel: Approximately 10% travel required

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operations of tasks in assigned program area including technical work, staff supervision, financial and business development activities.
• Supervises assigned technical and administrative staff and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation.
• Ensures all projects adhere to established Project Management standards and program policies from inception to close.
• Responsible for on-time delivery of all projects to include active requirement and subcontractor management and identification of program/project dependencies, risks, and opportunities.
• Coordinates with other program senior managers to integrate program resources as part of the project delivery teams for multiple on-going, simultaneous projects.
• Coordinates and monitors subcontractor activities and administers subcontractor deliverables.
• Supports requirement decomposition and proposal development for new program efforts and/or contract modifications.
• Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, consulting agreements and other program documents.
• Prepares and provides various reports and technical reviews to program client and senior management as requested.
• Assures quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits.
• Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.
