Job summary

Premier North Bay General Contractor is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee public works from inception to completion in the Petaluma area. You will plan, coordinate, and execute projects within budget, timeline, and scope while presenting updates to stakeholders and clients.

qualified candidates will manage procurement, safety compliance, and cross-functional teams, with emphasis on communication and leadership. EOE; Jobot supports diverse applicants.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years of Public Works Construction experience.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar managerial role.
• Experience managing projects from conception to delivery.
• Solid knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and PM principles.
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• A team player with leadership abilities.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of the project life cycle including scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change.
• Develop comprehensive project plans aligning customer requirements with company goals.
• Oversee procurement and coordinate material and resources.
• Review proposed changes with stakeholders and implement beneficial updates.
• Interact with clients to interpret needs and represent them in the field.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and report issues.
• Monitor progress and publish detailed milestone and deliverable reports.
• Anticipate future projects by maintaining client contact and industry awareness.
