Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Manager for large-scale hyperscale data center construction near St. Louis, MO. You will lead projects from preconstruction through turnover, owning budgets, schedules, and vendor coordination.

You’ll drive procurement, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction while building long-term client and subcontractor relationships.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of progressive construction project management experience.
• Proven experience delivering mission-critical or hyperscale data center projects.
• Strong understanding of data center construction sequencing, MEP coordination, commissioning, and turnover.
• Experience managing large, technically complex projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Strong command of project financials, scheduling, procurement, contracts, buyout, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead hyperscale data center projects from preconstruction through closeout and turnover.
• Own project budgets, forecasts, schedules, cost controls, and overall financial performance.
• Develop and maintain detailed execution plans, milestone schedules, procurement logs, and risk strategies.
• Oversee estimating, subcontractor bidding, contract negotiations, buyout, change management, and owner billing.
• Coordinate with field leadership, MEP teams, design partners, trade contractors, vendors, and commissioning teams.
• Drive procurement and installation of long-lead equipment; monitor critical-path activities and resolve issues.
