Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners in Naples, FL is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Heavy Civil / FDOT work. You will own budgets, schedules, change orders and subcontract management on highway and bridge projects, leading engineers, APMs and field teams through closeout.

This role offers full benefits and growth opportunities. Candidates should have 7+ years in heavy civil DOT work, FDOT experience, and a Civil/Construction degree.

Qualifications

• 7+ years on heavy civil highway, bridge or DOT projects, with time as a Project Manager or a senior APM
• FDOT project experience
• Four year degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Construction Science
• Strong on budgets, forecasts, pay estimates and change orders
• Clear communicator with owners, inspectors and the field
• Bridge experience is a plus
• Based in SW Florida or ready to relocate to Naples

Responsibilities

• Own the project budget, schedule and monthly cost forecast
• Lead the project team of engineers, APMs and field superintendents
• Buy out the job and manage subcontracts, purchase orders and suppliers
• Run monthly pay estimates, change orders and claims with FDOT and the CEI
• Manage submittals, RFIs and project documentation through closeout
• Plan the work with the superintendents and hold the schedule
• Keep permits, licenses and contract requirements current
• Drive safety and quality on every job
• Report progress and risk to the owner and senior leadership
