Job summary

Confluent is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Kafka Connect team to drive the Enterprise feature portfolio and enable seamless integration between Kafka and external systems, including on-premise deployments and managed services in Confluent Cloud.

You will partner with engineering, design, sales, and GTM teams to shape product strategy, work with customers to roadmap initiatives, and leverage AI/ML capabilities to enhance features. A strong enterprise mindset is essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a software product manager for an Enterprise technical product.
Empathy for enterprise customers and a willingness to be hands-on to solve problems.
Ability to craft a product strategy and roadmap with customers, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
Excellent communication skills to distill technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
Strong technical competency in distributed data systems, clouds, and stream processing.
MBA is a strong plus; BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field.
