Job summary

GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. is seeking experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers with structural and/or geotechnical expertise to join our Contractor Services Division.

You will guide engineering teams, manage budgets, and mentor staff on temporary works design for bridges, buildings, and tunnels. Field visits are infrequent, with the majority of work performed in office or client sites across North America, especially the Northeast US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• P.E. License required.
• 5+ years of experience in construction engineering (temporary works design).
• Geo-structural experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and manage client relationships.
• Oversee project budgets and schedules.
• Design temporary works, shoring towers, and lifting plans for structures.
• Perform site visits to assess field conditions (less than 10% of time).
• Coordinate with contractors, designers, and clients to ensure project success.
