Job summary

Micas Networks in San Jose, CA seeks a Senior Product Manager for data center switching hardware. You own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for high‑performance Ethernet switches used in AI clusters and modern data centers, focusing on Broadcom ASICs, CPO architectures, and advanced thermal, power, and liquid‑cooling designs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in networking hardware or data center infrastructure
• Strong understanding of Ethernet data center switches, Broadcom ASICs, and switch system architecture
• Experience with hardware lifecycle management (EVT/DVT/PVT, compliance, manufacturing ramp)

Responsibilities

• Define and own the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for data center switch platforms (e.g., 400G/800G/1.6T)
• Analyze data center trends and translate hyperscaler needs into clear product requirements
• Drive decisions around Broadcom ASIC selection, port configurations, optics/CPO integration, and system architecture
• Own product direction for Co-Packaged Optics (CPO), including power, thermal, and liquid cooling considerations
• Ensure products meet industry standards and drive EVT/DVT/PVT readiness and field reliability
• Collaborate with ASIC, hardware, firmware, thermal, mechanical, manufacturing, supply chain, marketing, and sales teams
