About the Position

Howell-Chase Heating & Air is seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Technician to join our growing team in Bluffton, SC.

In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems for residential customers. You’ll work independently and alongside other skilled technicians to deliver reliable, codecompliant solutions. Pay Range is $26-$30 per hour plus commission!

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, water heater failures, and fixture malfunctions.
• Install and replace plumbing systems and components in accordance with local codes, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and system evaluations to identify potential issues.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret plumbing codes, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with plumbing systems connected to HVAC equipment.
• Certifications in specialized areas such as backflow prevention, tankless systems, or gas piping.
• Familiarity with Service Titan or similar field service software.
• Strong customer service background and confidence in client-facing interactions.
• Ability to mentor junior technicians and support team development.
