Shambaugh & Son, L.P. seeks an experienced Senior Plumbing Engineer / Mechanical Design Manager to lead building plumbing designs for industrial and commercial facilities in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

The role collaborates across design and project teams, with preference for food production facility experience, and includes exposure to utilities, refrigeration, and fire protection systems. The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering degree, PE license, and 10+ years of relevant

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related four-year degree.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Mechanical experience within food production, pharmaceutical, or other sanitary environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
• Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative approach.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of Revit and other BIM platforms is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel to project sites approximately 15-25% of the time.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design of building plumbing systems and coordinate with other project team members, including the development of working drawings and specifications.
• Design drain, waste, and vent systems, as well as water supply, natural gas, and compressed air systems.
• Perform progress and final design reviews.
• Participate in the estimating process for plumbing systems.
• Prepare design criteria and bid packages for subcontractor pricing.
• Review and evaluate plumbing bid packages.
• Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and conduct field visits.
• Supervise and provide guidance to supporting engineers and drafters.
• Support the continued growth and development of talent within the Mechanical/Plumbing group.
• Other duties as required.

Food Tech is seeking an experienced Senior Plumbing Engineer / Mechanical Design Manager to join our team in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
