Job summary

EIKON-X in Houston is seeking experienced Plumbing Detailers to join our fully onsite mechanical contracting team. You will translate field knowledge into precise plumbing layouts, construction drawings, and 3D models for commercial projects using Revit and related drafting tools.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in plumbing trade and 3+ years drafting and Revit, with a strong understanding of field installation practices and proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and related software.

Qualifications

5+ years of plumbing trade experience.
3+ years of drafting and Revit experience.
Strong understanding of plumbing and mechanical systems, including how they are installed in the field.
Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, Fabrication CADmep and Navisworks Manage.
Familiarity with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Create detailed plumbing layouts, construction drawings, and 3D models using Revit and other drafting software.
Translate plumbing system designs into accurate, coordinated installation drawings.
Apply hands‑on knowledge of plumbing systems and field installation practices to detailing work.
Coordinate drawings and models with other mechanical systems and project requirements.
Work closely with lead detailers and project teams to meet project specifications and deadlines.
Review and refine drawings to ensure accuracy, quality, and constructability.
Collaborate with team members to resolve design conflicts and improve project coordination.
