Job summary

EMCOR Services Mesa Energy is seeking a Senior Plumbing Designer to provide engineering and design support to the Mesa Energy Systems Engineering Group. You will apply your plumbing and design experience to projects across commercial, industrial, government, healthcare and education markets.

The role requires 8+ years of engineering and design experience, proficiency with AutoCAD, and knowledge of permitting/submittal processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering preferred but not required.
• 8+ years of engineering and design experience.
• EIT/PE licensure a plus.
• Proficient with Permitting submittal requirements in the Plumbing field.
• Developed understanding of plumbing systems and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Generate detailed schematics for Plumbing systems based on instructions and guidelines.
• Conduct job site surveys and analyze design solutions and installation sequencing.
• Use AutoCAD to develop plans and redline piping/duct layouts.
• Assist and coordinate with engineers and drafters on projects.
• Prepare permit documents and perform load and energy calculations.
