Job summary

Intrepid Global Solutions is seeking a Plumber for our Virginia facilities management team. The role involves assembling, installing and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems, following codes and plans.

You will read plans, cut openings, thread pipes, weld and supervise installations while checking gauges for leaks. A High School diploma and a Master/Journeyman Plumber License plus 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Master or Journeyman Plumber License.
• 5+ years of related plumbing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install and repair pipes, fittings and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems.
• Study building plans and drawings to determine work sequence and required tools.
• Read pressure gauges and inspect systems to detect leaks or issues.
• Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes; use pipe cutters, torches and threading machines.
• Join pipes using screws, bolts, fittings, solder, or caulks; install valves and fixtures; weld as needed.
