Job summary

Georgia Tech is seeking a skilled Plumbing/Maintenance Technician in the Housing and Residence Life division in Atlanta, GA. You will inspect, repair, install, modify and maintain plumbing and related systems across campus facilities.

The role requires a high school diploma (or GED) and 4–6 years of relevant experience, plus a valid Georgia Driver's license. Technical plumbing training is preferred. Pay range for this role is shown in the posting.

Qualifications

• Master level skills in operation and maintenance of plumbing and piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair, replacement, testing, and troubleshooting of sewer and domestic water system components.
• Operate, repair, and troubleshoot natural gas and propane burner and supply system components.
• Maintain hot water reheat or chilled water systems including pumps, piping, valves and controls.
• Maintain air compressor systems and related components.
• Coordinate resources and provide work direction.
• Procure required materials and supplies; may purchase from vendors if authorized.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
