Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and experience with installation, maintenance or repair of air, water, gas, or waste disposal systems.
• Ability to supervise, direct and instruct others.
• Must obtain a backflow tester license through DHEC.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist in installation and emergency repair of plumbing systems, underground utilities and sewer systems statewide.
• Submit requisitions and estimated costs on routine maintenance and institutional repairs.
• Instruct and train personnel in the operation of plumbing, sewer and underground utility systems.
• Perform required tests and collect data to improve and maintain efficiency and performance of all related systems.
