The Maritime Manufacturing Team is seeking a Senior PLC Technician to join our team. The Maritime Manufacturing Team is responsible for keeping automated production equipment, industrial control systems, and robotic work cells running reliably so that production lines meet daily output, quality, and safety targets. This team supports the full lifecycle of automated equipment — from installation and commissioning of new lines to the day-to-day troubleshooting, programming, and preventive maintenance that keep existing equipment available and performing.
As a PLC Technician, you will be the technical resource for PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, and robotic systems across the manufacturing floor. You will diagnose and resolve electrical, controls, and automation issues to minimize downtime, support the installation and commissioning of new automated equipment, and build the capability of the broader maintenance team through hands‑on training in PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic. The right person for this role is comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced production environment, moving quickly between reactive troubleshooting and planned improvement work, and takes ownership of the documentation, backups, and preventive maintenance discipline that make automated equipment dependable over the long term. If you are someone who enjoys solving controls problems on the floor, learning new automation and robotic platforms, and making production equipment more reliable, then this role is for you.
