Job summary

HeadHR is seeking a skilled system administrator based in Poland, NY, to drive environments management towards complete automation. The successful candidate will design and implement fault-tolerant, scalable solutions while managing multi-server farms and deploying applications.

Applicants should have significant experience with the Oracle stack, Linux, and related technologies, along with strong analysis skills and a graduate degree in Computer Science. Very good English language skills are essential.

Requirements:

• Solid experience with Oracle stack (Database, Weblogic, Oracle Service Bus) and Linux administration
• Solid experience in multi-server farms management
• Experience in network topology design, security, performance and fault tolerant architecture
• Experience with application virtualization and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes,...)
• Experience deploying Java applications
• Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of network and server virtualization
• Application development or engineering experience
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication and/or related fields
• Experience implementing monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics/Dynatrace, Sysdig, Grafana, Prometheus, Telegraf, Influx DB)
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written

Nice to have:

• Experience with Red Hat and windows
• Hands on J2EE operations experience
• Experience with Big Data infrastructure (Hadoop, Kafka, etc)
• Expertise in scripting using a variety of tools (shell, bash, perl, python, ...)
• Work experience as a network engineer
• Practical knowledge of Functional and Non-Functional Testing
