Job summary

Quant Blueprint LLC is seeking an experienced Platform Support Engineer in New York, NY. In this role, you will be part of the Trade and Platform Support Engineering team, providing 24/7 monitoring and support for their proprietary trading platform. You will troubleshoot production issues, support requests, and collaborate with development teams for successful code deployment.

The ideal candidate will have five years of relevant experience, strong scripting skills, and a background in supporting trading systems. The role offers a base salary between $150,000 and $200,000, with performance bonuses and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in financial services supporting trading and post-trade systems.
• Experience managing large-scale deployments/environments.
• Experience supporting applications in a Linux environment.
• Strong scripting skills – Python, Bash, Shell, Perl.
• Experience developing tools and/or automating processes.
• Experience supporting FIX protocol.
• Understanding of monitoring and performance management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ownership experience and a track record of delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for production issues, support requests, and alerts.
• Investigate and solve issues/outages as they occur, escalating as necessary.
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure successful deployment of new code into production.
