Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking a Software Developer 3 (IC3) to design, develop, and operate scalable cloud services. You will work with senior engineers to own service components from design through production operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes building distributed systems, REST APIs, and modern development practices while ensuring reliability and security across Oracle Cloud services.

Qualifications

  • Strong programming skills in Java, Go, C++, Python, or a similar language.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.
  • Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
  • Knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous programming.
  • Familiarity with Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of cloud computing concepts and service‑oriented architectures.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern development practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native services and microservices.

Required Technical Skills

  • Experience with observability tools (metrics, logging, tracing).
  • Understanding of security best practices, authentication, and authorization.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $92,500 - $209,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
