Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in enterprise infrastructure operations spanning storage, networking, backup/recovery, virtualization, cloud, and data center tech.
• Experience in a large geographically dispersed professional services org; law firm experience is a plus.
• Appropriate infrastructure, cloud, networking, virtualization, storage or backup vendor certifications.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional technical work and leading infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, migrations, or recovery.
• Ability to plan and execute maintenance, patching, upgrades, migrations, and changes with documented plans.
• Knowledge of high availability, redundancy, disaster recovery, business continuity, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and communicate impacts to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple operational assignments and projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation, maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of core infrastructure platforms (storage, networking, backup/recovery, virtualization, related services).
• Perform routine operational work: patching, moves, adds, and changes; validate backups and maintenance windows; resolve incidents and service requests.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to complete tasks on schedule; identify risks and optimize infrastructure services.
• Recommend practical alternatives to improve resiliency, security, performance, and cost effectiveness.
• Lead infrastructure maintenance activities and coordinate cross-functional technical work.
