Job summary

Tiger Data is seeking experienced engineers to help us build our Cloud database experience and ensure operational excellence on our database platform. You will tackle performance and observability on our Postgres/Timescale workloads and design features that elevate our cloud database experience.

You will work across stack layers to optimize Postgres workloads, contribute to internal tools, and drive scalable stateful deployments on Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Golang and Linux with experience in cloud-grade systems.
• Extensive experience analyzing and tuning Postgres performance at scale.
• Proven track record building internal tools and services for Postgres workloads.

Responsibilities

• Improve performance, observability, and reliability of Postgres/Timescale deployments.
• Design and implement cloud database features across stack layers.
• Collaborate with platform and SRE teams to manage scale on Kubernetes.

• We’re looking for experienced engineers to help us build our Cloud database experience and ensure operational excellence on our database platform
• You will work with a close-knit team, handling performance and operational issues on our Platform, as well as designing and developing features that elevate our Cloud database experience
• Designing and implementing database-related Cloud features, working across many layers of the stack to ensure a seamless Postgres experience
• Ensuring operational excellence, performance, and observability for our fleet of Postgres/Timescale instances
• Diving deep into complex performance issues faced by our Cloud customers
