Job summary

HHAeXchange, a leading home and community-based care technology platform, seeks a Lead Engineer to drive the technology vision for Pavillio, our next-generation home care management and caregiver platform.

You will work across the stack from Angular frontends to Go backends, guiding feature development, performance optimization, and scalable architecture. Expect a startup-like culture within a larger company and opportunity to influence care delivery at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with backend technologies (Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, SQS) and observability tools.
• Experience architecting SaaS solutions in cloud environments using microservices/serverless architectures.
• Strong CI/CD experience and modern development practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technology vision and development of core components of Pavillio, our home care platform.
• Drive design and development of new features across frontend (Angular) and backend (Go).
• Optimize system performance and remediate bottlenecks.
• Promote experimentation and adoption of new technologies to improve the platform.
• Mentor a team of engineers and foster collaboration and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define goals and requirements.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain quality coding standards.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests; enhance the CI/CD pipeline.
• Monitor and optimize frontend and backend performance for scalability.
