As a Principal Engineer, you will set the engineering vision and translate strategic intent into scalable execution, focusing on developer experience, platform observability, and content enablement used by the QMARS team.

You will join the QMARS team working on CMS systems, modernizing workflows to improve patient care and reduce costs, while embracing a remote-first environment

Qualifications

Experience with AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
Hands-on with AWS services (API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS).
Knowledge of VPN, DNS, Route53, and general networking.
Experience with AWS EKS and Kubernetes.
Willingness to learn new services and adopt a DevSecOps mindset.

Responsibilities

Establish engineering vision and translate strategic intent into scalable execution.
Drive technical direction and platform observability across enterprise platforms.
Improve developer experience and content enablement for the QMARS team.
Collaborate with CMS-related teams to reduce provider burden and costs.
