Airbyte is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer for the Platform team in San Francisco. You will design and build internal platform products and user-facing features across Airbyte Cloud, Flex, and related services.

You will work on modern React and TypeScript applications with scalable backend services and APIs. Onsite 4 days/week in San Francisco, you will mentor engineers, raise frontend quality, and help shape platform standards while improving deployment workflows, observability, and

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building production fullstack applications.
• Deep expertise with React and TypeScript.
• Strong backend engineering experience building APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience shipping user-facing SaaS products with internal tools or developer platforms.
• Experience working with product managers and designers to ship customer-facing features.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and modern deployment workflows.
• Strong product instincts and customer empathy for engineers and external customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bias toward ownership, automation, and shipping.

Responsibilities

• Build Internal Platform Products and dashboards for deployment, infra health, and platform performance.
• Develop API-backed, user-facing features in Airbyte Cloud and Flex.
• Create self-service tools for provisioning infrastructure and troubleshooting production systems.
• Design React/TypeScript applications and scalable backend services.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineers, SREs, PMs, and Designers to ship high-quality software.
• Improve observability and reliability of platform services.
