Job summary

Astra is building mission-critical infrastructure for real-time money movement in the U.S. as a remote-first fintech platform. You will own core infrastructure, from Terraform migrations to CI/CD, and partner with engineers to ship updates safely.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a platform/infrastructure engineering role with significant ownership.
• Experience building internal developer tooling, CI/CD systems, or service platforms.
• Experience in startup/small-team environments with ownership of meaningful infrastructure.
• Production cloud experience (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure also relevant) with infrastructure-as-code.
• Partnering with product engineering to unblock work and own production infra.

Responsibilities

• Own pieces of core platform infrastructure (Terraform migration, VPC, IAM, networking).
• Build and maintain tooling/abstractions for product engineers to ship code.
• Advance observability foundation and metrics pipeline.
• Standardize monitoring/alerting including financial metrics.
• Harden CI/CD pipelines and secrets management.
• Support GCP infrastructure and cost visibility as we scale.
• Contribute to compliance tooling, onboarding tooling, and infra docs.
• Operate independently on production infrastructure changes.
