Job summary

Biorce in Austin, TX seeks a DevOps/SRE to build scalable Kubernetes infrastructure for AI-driven workloads. You’ll implement GitOps (ArgoCD), automate pipelines, and drive reliability across multi-tenant GPU environments.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, data and security teams, design cloud-native solutions, and promote best practices in monitoring, logging, and security to accelerate development and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with 3–5 years of relevant DevOps/SRE experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes in production environments (multi-tenant clusters, GPU scheduling, autoscaling).
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience deploying and operating GitOps workflows (ArgoCD).
• Strong CI/CD experience enabling engineering teams to ship faster with confidence.

About the role

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Build and operate a scalable, secure, and automated Kubernetes-based infrastructure to support AI-driven clinical and data-intensive workloads.
• Lead the adoption of GitOps practices to ensure all infrastructure and application changes are delivered through version-controlled, automated pipelines.
• Drive improvements in monitoring, observability, and reliability across multi-tenant environments with demanding GPU workloads.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to design cloud-native solutions and provide best practices for deploying and running applications in production.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with 3-5 years of relevant DevOps/SRE experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes in production environments (multi-tenant clusters, GPU scheduling, autoscaling).
• Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience deploying and operating GitOps workflows (ArgoCD).
• Strong background in designing CI/CD pipelines and enabling engineering teams to ship faster with confidence.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and proactively improve system reliability.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with development, data, and security teams.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in Kubernetes (RBAC, namespaces, operators, custom resources, Helm, Kustomize).
• Proficiency with IaC (Terraform).
• Hands-on experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD).
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).
• Familiarity with container security, secrets management, and policy enforcement (OPA/Gatekeeper, Kyverno, HashiCorp Vault, GCP Secret Manager).
• Knowledge of GCP services (GKE, AlloyDB, CloudSQL, BigQuery, Cloud Storage) is a plus, but experience with AWS or Azure is also valued.
• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with GPU workloads (NVIDIA device plugin, MIG, CUDA runtime, scheduling optimizations) is a strong plus.
• Scripting/automation in Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with service meshes (Istio, Linkerd) is a plus.
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, ENS) is a plus.
