Job summary

Litmus is building the data foundation that powers industrial AI. You’ll join a growth-stage software company delivering real-time data from machines, systems, and sensors at the edge. You’ll own the platform’s technical architecture, drive cross-team decisions, and mentor engineers as we scale.

You’ll evaluate emerging tech, lead architectural changes, and collaborate with product and operations to shape a resilient, performance-driven platform for industrial environments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering with clear architectural impact.
• Expert-level Go and distributed systems design.
• Mastery of Docker and Kubernetes for large-scale deployments.
• Deep Linux/Unix expertise from OS level to production.
• Proven ability to make thoughtful, long-term architectural decisions.
• Strong communicator across engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading through influence, not authority.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native infra, CI/CD, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall technical architecture of the platform — set long-term vision and balance speed, scale, and maintainability.
• Drive architectural decisions across teams, ensuring reliability and developer velocity.
• Identify systemic engineering problems early and lead cross-org solutions.
• Partner with engineering leads to design and review critical systems before they’re built.
• Champion and standardize engineering patterns, tooling, and infrastructure best practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies with clear judgment and guide adoption where impactful.
• Mentor and develop senior and staff engineers to raise the technical bar.
• Represent architecture in cross-functional discussions with product, operations, and leadership.
• Contribute to hiring decisions and shape world-class engineering at the company.
