Job summary

IntePros in Redwood City, CA is seeking a Principal Engineer to design scalable, reliable software and accelerate delivery. This role will lead architecture, mentor engineers, and drive DevSecOps practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

You will shape the technology direction, sponsor best engineering practices, and influence product decisions with a hands-on approach at both architecture and code levels.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering or architecture.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in software frameworks and development.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration on technical projects.
• Hands-on experience to stand up an architecture.
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Drive and evangelize architecture for new and existing platforms and applications.
• Deliver thought leadership, strategic direction, and technology guidance toward business objectives.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance architectures for existing and innovative solutions.
• Lead architecture strategies, frameworks and governance processes.
• Establish long-term software architecture direction for sound investment decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to align engineering costs and SLAs.
