Cisco Systems, Inc is building and operating the Platform Engineering AI Compute Platform, a GPU infrastructure powering model training, inference, and LLM workloads at scale. As a Senior Platform Software Engineer, you will own the architecture, APIs, and multi-cluster scheduling systems that manage multi-cluster environments, tenant quotas, and workload routing across shared and dedicated pools.

• 8+ years of software engineering experience building or extending Kubernetes-based platforms or large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Go or Python with experience in platform control-plane services, APIs, controllers, or CRDs.
• Hands-on experience with GPU scheduling or accelerator schedulers for AI/ML workloads.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and develop platform control-plane services, APIs, and controllers for multi-cluster lifecycle and GPU quota enforcement.
• Own scheduling architecture for GPU capacity, including multi-tenant isolation and latency considerations.
• Develop automation for capacity intake, demand classification, and routing workloads to appropriate clusters and pools.
• Lead design reviews and raise standards for reliability, GitOps, and cloud-native observability.
