Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to build and scale the next generation of infrastructure management services. You will drive automation across multi-substrate infrastructure, integrate AI/ML for anomaly detection, and connect security tooling with platforms like Tenable and CrowdStrike.

This role requires collaboration with security, engineering, and operations teams to deliver resilient, scalable solutions in a cloud-centric environment.

Qualifications

• Strong background in AI/ML and automation.
• Experience building systems that operate themselves.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Ability to connect tools via APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with TDD, code review, SDLC and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with engineers, security specialists, and operations teams to solve complex challenges and build resilient solutions.
• Design and Deliver Automation: Develop advanced, scalable automation to detect, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities—turning manual processes into efficient, self-operating systems.
• Apply AI and Machine Learning: Leverage AI/ML models for intelligent data analysis, anomaly detection, and predictive security, accelerating our ability to identify and mitigate threats.
• Integrate Security Tooling: Seamlessly connect and orchestrate platforms like Tenable, CrowdStrike, and other vendor agents to enable unified, autonomous operations.
• Expand Your Expertise: Gain deep knowledge of large-scale cloud infrastructure, security tooling, and modern vulnerability management practices while staying ahead of emerging technologies.
