Job summary

North Freeze Dry, LLC in Little Falls, MN seeks a Plant Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Little Falls facility. You will oversee production, maintenance, sanitation, warehousing, logistics, inventory, safety, quality, and operating expense to drive plant performance.

You will translate strategy into daily execution, manage cross-functional coordination, and develop plant leaders. Expect accountability for safety, quality, and on-time delivery in a regulated food environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field; equivalent combination considered.
• 7+ years progressive manufacturing or plant operations leadership experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading supervisors or managers and hourly teams.
• Experience managing plant budgets and manufacturing costs.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, GMPs, sanitation, traceability, quality systems and regulations.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety programs.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, inventory control, and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coach, and develop the Plant Manager and other leaders for daily and weekly results.
• Set plant-wide priorities and ensure execution across production, maintenance, warehousing, and logistics.
• Manage total plant operating expenses within the approved budget and monitor cost drivers.
• Lead safety, quality, and food safety programs to meet regulatory and customer requirements.
• Coordinate maintenance and engineering priorities for reliability and uptime.
• Oversee inventory controls, cycle counts, and reconciliation across materials and finished goods.
