Job summary

O&K American Corp. is seeking an Operations/Facilities Manager to oversee plant maintenance, safety, and line performance at our Chicago facility.

You will lead both direct and indirect maintenance teams, drive 5S, quality, and productivity improvements, and manage budgets and vendor relationships. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or Management with several years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in wire manufacturing, and strong communication across all levels of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Management required or equivalent experience.
• Several years of manufacturing management experience, preferably wire manufacturing.
• Strong managerial and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication; ability to interact with all levels.
• Understanding and implementation of IATF16949.
• Demonstrated ability to lead an organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant and equipment management and maintenance.
• Direct and lead maintenance staff and plant operations.
• Monitor safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance; implement 5S and productivity initiatives.
• Develop and monitor preventive maintenance programs and budgets.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes.
• Lead plant improvements, shutdowns, and expansions.
