JBS USA seeks a Plant Engineer to join the Maintenance & Engineering team in Council Bluffs, IA. The role leads maintenance execution, oversees preventive maintenance, and drives safety and reliability across plant operations.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in industrial maintenance, ammonia refrigeration, and SAP CMMS, with strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team effectively.

• Proven ability to lead and develop maintenance teams.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Maintenance execution activities for the Council Bluffs facility.
• Oversee Preventative Maintenance program and SAP CMMS.
• Develop and mentor 5 Maintenance Supervisors and a Planning Supervisor.
• Collaborate with Engineering for standardization and best practices.
