Job summary

Hdt Global Company in Spokane, WA is seeking a senior finance leader to manage monthly closings, cost analyses, and budgeting processes in a manufacturing environment.

The role oversees cost control, margin analysis, and capital expenditure reviews, collaborating with plant management to drive cost reductions while ensuring compliance with GAAP.

Requires 8+ years of accounting/finance experience; a Bachelor's in Accounting and CPA a plus; onsite 4 days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA a plus.
• 8+ years of accounting/finance experience; manufacturing/batch environment preferred.
• Experience with government/defense contractor a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduits monthly and annual close; assist with annual audit.
• Analyzes changes in product design, materials, costs to evaluate impact.
• Monitors and analyzes standard vs. actual manufacturing costs.
• Develops processes to monitor site spending and control costs.
• P&L forecasting and corrective actions to meet AOP.
• Capital expenditure justification analyses.
• Inventory analysis incl. obsolete, slow-moving, cycle counting.
• Make vs. buy analysis; cost reduction with plant management.
• Provide information to senior management; uphold mission and culture.
• Adhere to quality and safety standards.
