Job summary

Idaho Army National Guard in Idaho is seeking a senior engineering technician and work lead for the Facilities Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization program to provide advanced technical engineering support and direct project scoping and programming for state facilities.

You will lead complex analyses, read and interpret drawings and CAD/GIS data, coordinate with multiple teams, ensure compliance with regulations, and help guide project planning and execution.

Qualifications

• Describe knowledge of general engineering, architecture and construction concepts to develop scopes of work and estimations.
• Describe ability to read and interpret advanced drawings, plans, CAD files and GIS data.
• Describe knowledge of construction management principles including scheduling and quality control.
• Describe knowledge of regulations relating to design, construction and contracting.
• Describe experience with common operating software and project management/records software.
• Describe communication skills and ability to interact with diverse individuals.
• Describe basic managerial duties including coaching, assigning work and managing workflow.

Responsibilities

• Lead project scoping and programming for the FSRM program supporting state facilities.
• Provide advanced technical engineering support and direction to project teams.
• Develop detailed scopes of work and complex cost estimations for renovations and construction.
• Interpret drawings, CAD files and GIS data to support project planning and execution.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance throughout projects.
