Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Planning, Senior Support to help connect customers, planners, field personnel, and leadership from intake to completion. You’ll manage critical workflows, support electric service planning operations, and contribute to delivering safe, reliable energy solutions that power our communities.

This hybrid role is based at the Long Beach Service Center in California, with potential extended assignments at alternate locations.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in an analytical role.
• Experience in customer service and with office software and filing systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Experience generating reports and analyzing data.
• Knowledge of records management and information retention practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact for Planning; manages inboxes, mail, task logs, SharePoint updates, Teams messages, incoming calls, customer walk-ins, front gate/door access, project tracker entries, system notes and documentation links.
• Coordinates cross-functional communication between customers, planners, project managers, leadership and partners; supports intake for new customer requests and assigns Service Requests.
• Coordinates Docusign routes, approvals, status tracking, and follow-up notifications.
• Reviews submittals for completeness; assigns planner/designer resources; pulls structure information, SAP data, maps, and system details.
• Creates and processes service requests and planner files; preserves chain-of-custody documentation and archives finalized documents in SharePoint.
• Splits, packages, schedules, and validates Work Orders; supports short-cycle scheduling.
• Generates and routes bills, invoices, contract packages; manages service orders; handles inspections.
• Generates reports; validates data quality and resolves system/contract discrepancies.
• Supports office logistics, supply ordering, and general IT requests.
