Job summary

The Town of Snowmass Village, Colorado, is seeking a Senior Planner to manage complex land use applications and support daily operations in the Community Development Department. The ideal candidate will work independently while communicating effectively with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of related work experience.
  • Experience in local government preferred.
  • Ability to manage conflict positively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage high-priority land use applications and building permits.
  • Provide customer service regarding Town plans and zoning matters.
  • Attend and lead meetings with developers and Town staff.

General understanding of Historic preservation laws
Ability to prepare and analyze technical reports
Excellent communication skills
Critical thinking and analysis capability

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Urban/Regional Planning
Master’s degree in a related field preferred
