Job summary

The Town of Apple Valley is seeking a Senior Planner to administer activities in zoning, redevelopment, housing, and advanced planning under general supervision. You will provide accurate information and guidance to the public, the Town Council, and the Planning Commission on land use matters.

A Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or related field and five years of professional planning experience are required; California driver's license and ability to attend evenings meetings are also

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Community Development, or related field.
• Five years of professional planning experience in planning, zoning, and related community development.
• California driver’s license with satisfactory driving record (+ automobile insurance).
• Must be available to attend Planning Commission and Town Council meetings.
• Experience in Land Use Planning is a plus.
