Job summary

The City of Lewisville is seeking a qualified planning professional to review plats, site plans, and development proposals for conformance with codes. You will provide staff support to citizen boards, coordinate with internal departments, and improve development processes while ensuring accuracy and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning or related field; Master’s preferred.
5 years of professional planning experience.

Responsibilities

Review plats, site plans, subdivisions and proposals; prepare written recommendations for boards.
Advise developers, architects, builders and the public on development issues.
Coordinate with internal departments on development projects and ensure compliance and accuracy.
Provide staff support for boards; prepare agendas and minutes; attend meetings as needed.
Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and customer service.
