You will bring 7+ years of CA planning experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines while supporting local agencies with policy and permitting work. The role offers career growth and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in California planning agencies.
• Experience with CEQA/NEPA review and preparing IS/MNDs if required.
• Experience processing moderately complex to complex development applications.
• Strong communication and ability to present planning reports to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Update zoning code and development standards.
• Assist with or complete planning studies.
• Oversee CEQA review of projects and prepare IS/MNDs if needed.
• Support local agency planning departments.
• Engage in advance/policy planning and state/federal permitting procedures under CEQA/NEPA.
