Amerco Real Estate Company is seeking a full-time Senior Planner professional to support land use, zoning, and entitlement planning activities for our commercial real estate portfolio throughout the U.S. and Canada. In this role, you will provide expertise in land planning, municipal entitlement processes, graphic preparation, and site plan development from project due diligence through final approval. The Senior Planner and Zoning professional will provide strategic guidance on zoning regulations, land use planning, and entitlement strategies while collaborating with internal teams, consultants, and municipal agencies to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in compliance with applicable requirements. This position will support entitlement approvals, coordinate planning activities, and contribute to the successful execution of the company’s commercial real estate development objectives. The Senior Planner and Zoning position reports directly to the President of AREC.
