Job summary

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $140,000, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years reviewing plans for conformance to California Building Standards Codes.
• Possession of a current PE California License is required.
• Competency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the technical review of construction documents.
• Assess design adequacy to address life-safety and structural review.
• Supervise Plan Check Engineers and prepare effective reports.

Skills

Knowledge of California Building Standards Codes

Ability to read and interpret construction diagrams

Strong communication skills

Computer competency (Microsoft Office, Bluebeam)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering

PE California License
