Qualifications

• Education: JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing.
• Three years of full‑time civil litigation experience including jury or bench trials and consumer protection work.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work in-person at an OAG workspace and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Files and litigates high‑profile civil litigation matters.
• Develops complex factual and legal theories from investigation through trial.
• Represents the state in charitable trust and civil enforcement cases.
• Drafts legal documents and prepares cases for trial.
• Engages in discovery, depositions, and motions practice.
• Provides guidance to junior staff and collaborates with colleagues.
