Qualifications

5–7 years of plaintiff personal injury and/or medical malpractice litigation experience.
Experience handling cases from inception through trial or settlement.
First-chair jury trial experience is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong motion, discovery, deposition, and case management skills.
Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar.

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of personal injury and/or medical malpractice matters from inception through resolution.
Draft, review, and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery.
Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and participate in mediations.
Develop case strategy and work closely with clients throughout the litigation process.
Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, exhibit management, and motion practice.
Assist with and/or serve as trial counsel in jury trials.
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to maximize case outcomes.
