Job summary

Vaarida Technologies LLC in Chicago seeks a seasoned PKI & Security Architect to design and maintain an enterprise PKI framework, including Root and Issuing CAs, CRL/OCSP, and HSMs. The role also covers Venafi Trust Protection Platform design, governance, and platform upgrades.

Responsibilities include building automation, integrating Venafi with enterprise apps and cloud services (Azure, AWS), and ensuring compliance with NIST, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001. Strong scripting skills required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Information Security experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on PKI architecture experience.
• 5+ years of Venafi Trust Protection Platform experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise PKI architecture (Root CA, Issuing CA, CRL, OCSP, HSM).
• Architect integrations between Venafi and enterprise apps, cloud services, and security platforms.
• Lead platform upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives.
• Design automation frameworks using Venafi APIs, PowerShell, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.
